In the article, our president and CEO, John Rotella, discusses how we got our start, beginning with our 100-year-old family bakery.

“Seeing our byproduct just going to animal feed made me wonder if there was something more we could do wit the ingredient and all that nutrition . . . So, we created a way to take something that was being thrown away – our bakery product – and now we’re turning it into something better.”

Now, we’ve grown into a full-service pet treat manufacturer – using sustainability as our superpower to reduce food waste, reduce costs and feed our pets.
